Problem description
inSync Connector installation fails with the following error message.
Error Message:
Error Event ID 11935 Product: Product: Druva inSync AD Connector Cloud 5.8 -- Error 1935. An error occurred during the installation of assembly 'policy.9.0.Microsoft.VC90.CRT,version="9.0.21022.8",publicKeyToken="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b",processorArchitecture="amd64",type="win32-policy"'. Please refer to Help and Support for more information.
Resolution
Install the latest Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package to be able to install the inSync Connector successfully. The package can be downloaded from Visual C++ download page.
Verification
After a successful installation, the inSync Connector gets listed in the installed programs in the Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features.
