Issue / Problem Description

A customer needed to export a large volume of their backed-up Microsoft 365 data, including both user-specific data (Exchange Online, OneDrive) and organisation-wide data (SharePoint).

Resolution / Workaround

Druva SaaS Apps offer several options for bulk data export from Microsoft 365:

A. User-Based Data (Exchange Online, OneDrive, Gmail, Gdrive):

B. Organisation-Based Data (SharePoint):

  • SharePoint data can be downloaded directly from the admin console. Keep in mind this is a browser-based, single-thread operation.

  • Alternatively, you can perform a restore to a test site for SharePoint or a test mailbox for Public Folders.
