View alerts

This topic explains how you can view alerts and filter alerts according to severity, alert type, and so on.

View list of alerts

  1. Log in to the Management Console.

  2. Select the required organization if All Organizations menu is enabled.
    For more information, see Enable and disable organizations.

  3. On the menu bar, click Alert bell icon. The Alerts page opens and displays the Alerts tab selected in the left pane.

  4. The corresponding alert details are displayed in the right pane.

    • Severity Type: Severity of the alert such as Critical, Warning, or Information.

    • Alert Type: Type of alert. For more information, see Alerts for Enterprise Workloads.

    • Target: VMs on which the alerts are generated.

    • Description: Description of the alert.

    • Generated On: Date and time when the alert was generated.

    • View Details: Click to view the details of the alert. For more information, see View alert details.

  5. Filter the alert list according to the severity. In the Alerts tab, click the severity such as Critical, Warning, or Info from the Severity list.
    A list of alerts with the selected severity appears.

In addition, you can view the total number of alerts, for example, Alerts | 2 of 2, and can hover over the refresh icon to get the date and time when the alerts were last refreshed.

Search alerts by target name

You can search alerts by Target. For example, you can search for alerts by providing the exact or partial name in the search box and press Enter.

Filter alerts

  1. Click the Filter icon and select one or more filters to filter alerts.

  2. You can filter the alert list according to the severity, and select alerts generated in the last 24 hours, 7 days, or 1 month. You can also filter the alerts by Alert Type. For more information on alert types, see Alerts for Enterprise Workloads.

  3. Click Apply to apply the search settings.

​Click Reset to reset all the filters.


View critical alerts

  1. Log in to the Management Console.

  2. Select the required organization if All Organizations menu is enabled.

  3. On the menu bar, click the number displayed against Alerts icon.
    The Alerts page opens with all the critical alerts.

View alert details

On the Alerts page opens, select the alerts and click View Details.​​​

Depending on the type of alert, the Alert Detail page displays a summary of the alert type, severity, backup set type, alert description, storage details, date and time when the alert was generated, and so on.
The following is an example of a job-specific alert that displays the backup set type details. These backup set type details will not be displayed for a licensing-related alert.

​Druva does not provide alert details for the alerts that were generated before the Cloud Push 4.7.
