The Group dashboard provides detailed visibility into all your Group discovered within the Druva Console. This article explains how to navigate and perform key actions using the Group dashboard.
Access the Group Dashboard
To access the Group dashboard:
Sign in to your Druva Console.
Navigate to Microsoft 365 > Groups.
The dashboard is divided into two primary tabs:
Selecting a configured Group displays the Group detail dashboard, which contains three tabs:
Summary
Activity Stream
All Groups
The All Groups tab displays all Groups discovered, along with the following details:
Name
Email
Type [Security, Microsoft 365, Distribution, or Mail-enabled Security]
#Plans [This field indicates number of a plans associated with a group.]
Teams [This field indicates whether a team is associated with a group.]
Configuration Status [Backup status—configured/not configured]
Actions You Can Perform on All Groups Tab:
Search a Group
Filter Group by privacy and configuration status.
Adjust visible columns in the table.
View the Groups list in the full-screen mode.
Configured Groups
The Configured Group tab lists sites already configured for backup, displaying:
Name
Type
#Plans
Last Completed Backup
Backup Data (in MB)
Backup Enabled/Disabled
Last Backup Status (Completed Successfully, Failed, Completed with Errors, Never Backed Up)
Status details (if any; such as
ESITENOTFOUND
)Configuration (backup profile; hover to view mode of configuration—auto or manual, auto configuration rule, and backup profile)
Actions You Can Perform on Configured Groups Tab:
You can perform the following actions on the Configured Groups tab.
Backup Now – Perform a manual backup of the selected Group.
Restore Data – Restore data for the selected Group.
Filter the Groups list based on the following criteria:
Group Type
Plan Name
Groups with connected Teams
Last Backup Status
Backup enabled/disabled
Group Privacy (Public, Private, None)
Configuration Mode
Auto Configuration Rule
Backup Profile
Group Details Dashboard
Selecting a Group on Configured Group tab displays details dashboard, which contains three tabs:
Summary
Provides an overview of details for the selected Group, including:
Field | Description |
Group Details | Displays the name, type, number of current plans, backup status, storage region, date and time when the Group was added, description, email ID, Group site, and Group Team. |
Data Distribution | Analyze the backed-up data distribution between Group Sites, Group metadata, Planner metadata, and Group Mailbox. |
Storage consumption | Shows backup storage consumption over the last 90 days. Hover on the chart for daily details. |
Backup Summary | Displays the last completed backup status, backup data, size and total backup size. |
Backup Settings | Displays configuration mode—auto or manual, Auto configuration rule name and backup profile. |
Actions You Can Perform on Summary Tab:
Backup Now – Manually backup the selected Group.
Restore Data – Restore data for the selected Group.
Reconfigure – Modify backup profile settings.
Enable/Disable Backup
Delete – Remove the selected Group.
Activity Stream
The Activity Stream tab displays the current progress of ongoing backup or restore activities of all Groups.
Actions You Can Perform on Activity Stream Tab:
Download logs for backup and restore activities.
Filter logs by Activity type, Time, and Status.
