How to run Hyper-V FLR Proxy Configuration.

Overview

  • When a customer deploys a new Hyper-V FLR proxy, the setup wizard automatically runs the Hyper-V FLR Proxy Configuration utility.

  • However, if the customer reboots or re-login later and needs to reconfigure the proxy, they need to manually launch the configuration utility.

  • This article describes the steps to run the Hyper-V FLR Proxy Configuration tool.

Steps to Run Hyper-V FLR Proxy Configuration.

  1. Start the FLR Proxy virtual machine and connect to it using PuTTY or any SSH client.

  2. Log in with the following credentials (unless changed):

    1. Username: root

    2. Password: druvaphoenix

  3. Run the command to launch the utility: HyperVFLRProxyConf

    1. Path: /opt/Druva/Phoenix/bin/

  4. Once executed, the Hyper-V FLR Proxy Configuration utility will start, and you can proceed with configuring the FLR proxy.

  5. Now you can proceed to configure the Hyper-FLR Proxy.
