Problem Description
When the subnet configuration of your environment changes, the Druva File-Level Restore (FLR) proxy for Hyper-V may require an update to its network settings. Without updating the configuration, restores may fail due to network connectivity issues.
Cause
The FLR proxy retains the network configuration from its initial setup. If your network's subnet or gateway changes, the proxy will continue to use the old settings until manually updated.
Resolution Steps
Log in to the FLR Proxy VM Console
Access the FLR proxy VM through Hyper-V Manager or your preferred console access method.
Navigate to the Phoenix Installation Directory
Run the following commands:
cd /opt/Druva/Phoenix/lsYou should see folders such as bin, doc, lib, and sbin.
Open the bin Directory
Run:
cd binlsLocate the HyperVFLRProxyConf executable.
Run the Configuration Utility
Execute:
./HyperVFLRProxyConfThe utility will launch and prompt you to select your cloud type. Choose the appropriate option:
Select Network Configuration
From the menu, choose:
Network Configuration
Update your IP address, subnet mask, and gateway to match the new network settings.
βSave and Exit
After updating, save the configuration and restart the FLR proxy to apply the changes.
