Overview
The TurboTier Details page offers insights into the TurboTier server, covering its configuration, cache usage, and associated backup sets. The Data Sync Trend charts display the data synced from the TurboTier server to Cloud, aiding administrators in planning and monitoring TurboTier usage
Accessing TurboTier Details
Log in to the Management Console.
Navigate to Manage > TurboTier. If the All Organizations menu is enabled, select an organization first, then proceed to Manage > TurboTier.
The All TurboTier Devices page opens, summarizing all configured TurboTier servers.
Click the Configured tab.

The All TurboTier Devices page holds the following details:
โTurboTier Name: Name of the TurboTier server.
Operating System: OS version of the TurboTier
Version: Current server version.
Connection Status: Current connection status.
Storage used: Local disk space consumed.
Estimated Data pending upload: Data not yet synced with Cloud.
# Backup Sets Attached: Number of attached backup sets.
#Unsynced Backup Sets: Number of backup sets that exist on the selected TurboTier but have not yet been synchronized (uploaded) to the cloud. This count will only be available for the R4 and R3 versions of TurboTier. It is updated every 24 hours.

In the TurboTier Name column, select the desired TurboTier to view its details.
The TurboTier Details page is organized into the following tabs:
Overview tab
The Overview tab provides administrators with the current status and configuration of the selected TurboTier server, including cache usage, schedule, and resource consumption. The Data Sync Trend charts show data synced from the TurboTier server to Cloud, helping administrators monitor and manage usage.
Overview Tab Fields
TurboTier Name: Name of the TurboTier server.
Connection Status: Current connection status.
# Backup Sets Attached: Number of attached backup sets.
Activated On: Activation date and time.
FQDN: Fully qualified domain name of the server.
Version: Current server version.
TurboTier Usage: Total used and allocated size.
Estimated Un-Synced Data: Data not yet synced with Cloud.
Data Synced to Cloud: Amount of data synced during the last daily schedule.
Data Pending Upload: Amount of data not synced in the last 30 days.
Note: Hover over the graph to see the daily synced data for a specific date within the last 30 days.
Actions
An administrator can perform the following actions on the Overview page.
Action | Description |
Edit | Click the button to edit the TurboTier details. For more information, see Edit TurboTier details. |
Upgrade Client | Click to upgrade the TurboTier to the latest version. For more information, see Upgrade TurboTier. |
Decommission Cache | Click the button to decommission the TurboTier. For more information, see Decommission TurboTier. |
Configuration tab
The Configuration tab displays upload schedules and data volume details for backups on TurboTier.
Configuration Tab Fields
Upload Schedule:
Backup to Cloud if unable to backup to Cache: Status of the option to back up directly to the cloud if TurboTier is unavailable.
Days: Days when synchronization to the cloud occurs.
Start At (TurboTier Timezone): Synchronization start time.
Upload Window (Hrs): Duration of the synchronization window.

If synchronization completes early, TurboTier checks for new data every 10 minutes and syncs it to Cloud within the set duration.
Max. Bandwidth: Bandwidth allocated for synchronization.
Data Volumes:
Volume: Data volume or folder on the TurboTier server for backups.
Volume Usage: Total and allocated size of the data volume.
An administrator can perform the following actions the Configuration page:
Edit Upload Schedule
Click the button to edit the synchronization schedule for the TurboTier.

Add Data Volume
Click the button to add a data volume to the TurboTier.

Edit Data Volumes
Click the edit icon to modify the size of an existing data volume.

Attached Backup Sets Tab
This tab provides information on backup sets attached to the TurboTier server, allowing administrators to manage and search for backup sets by name or filter by type (e.g., Files, MS-SQL, NAS, VMware, HyperV).
Attached Backup Sets Tab Fields
Backup Set Type: Content type for backup.
Administrative Group: Mapped administrative group.
Retention Period: Duration for retaining backup data.
#Recovery Points: Number of recovery points on your TurboTier R4 or R3
#Unsynced Recovery Points: Number of recovery points that exist on the selected TurboTier but have not yet been synchronized (uploaded) to the cloud. This count only includes recovery points on the R4 and R3 versions of TurboTier. This count is updated every 24 hours.
The following actions can be performed on the Backup Sets tab.
Edit Retention
Click the button to change the retention period.

Detach
Click the button to detach the mapped backup set or virtual machine from the TurboTier.

Click the button to add or map a backup set to the TurboTier.

Jobs Tab
The Jobs tab lists all sync jobs.

Jobs Tab Fields
Job ID: Unique job identification number (click to view details).
Job Type: Type of job (e.g., scheduled or unscheduled uploads).
Data Uploaded: Size of uploaded data.
Start Time: Job start time.
End Time: Job completion time.
Status: Job status (Queued, Running, Successful, Failed).
