Problem Description
inSync AD Connector registration fails with “Failed to activate device. Failure in creating Device: Device Already Exists” error.
Error message
Failed to activate. Invalid argument error : Failed to activate device. Failure in creating Device: Device Already Exists
Causes
The AD Connector with the same hostname is already registered on another Druva instance.
Resolution
Check if the AD Connector on the same host was earlier registered on another Druva instance during testing.
Contact support if the issue persists.
