Modifying an Auto-Configuration Rule

This section defines the procedure for modifying an existing Auto-Configuration Rule and lists the fixed vs. editable parameters.

  1. Select Workload: In the left navigation pane, go to Druva Cloud Platform Console > All Services > Auto Configuration Rules.

  2. Select Rule: Click the Rule Name to open the management interface.

  3. Find the card on the Summary tab containing the property you wish to change.


Modifying Rule Properties

  1. Locate the specific configuration card (e.g., Overview or Backup Settings) on the Summary tab.

  2. Click the Edit button associated with that card.

  3. Update the fields and save your changes.

๐Ÿ“NOTE: You can update properties such as unmatched resources, rule name,description, assigned backup profile (including creating and assigning a new profile) for any rule. However, the associated workload and storage region cannot be changed.
