New Feature
FedRAMP Authorization for Druva Cyber Resiliency
Druva has achieved FedRAMP authorization for its Cyber Resiliency suite, extending advanced security capabilities to File Server, NAS, and VMware workloads within the Druva FedRAMP certified GovCloud.
Federal agencies can now leverage these certified features to proactively detect risks and ensure data integrity in high-compliance environments.
With this update, we bring you the following features:
Posture and Observability: Includes the following features:
Access Events: Monitor who accesses your data, including admins and APIs. For more information, see Access Events.
Rollback Actions: Restore deleted backups from a secure cache for up to 7 days. For more information, see Rollback Actions.
Security Center: Get a real-time security posture risk assessment and in-depth insights into the status and health of your backup environment. For more information, see Security Center.
Data Anomalies: Detects unusual file creation, modification, encryption, and deletion actions. For more information, see Data Anomalies.
Ransomware Recovery: Includes the following features:
Quarantine Bay: Isolate infected snapshots to prevent the spread of infection. For more information, see Quarantine for File Server and NAS, Quarantine for VMware.
Curated Snapshots (File Server and NAS): Create clean snapshots for recovery. For more information, see Curated Snapshots.
Restore Scan (File Server and NAS): Scan the data for viruses and malware during a data restore activity before restoring data. For more information, see Restore Scan.
Sandbox Recovery (VMware): Use the Sandbox Recovery feature in the VMware Restore workflow to recover a specific recovery point, followed by an antivirus scan in a sandbox environment. You can certify whether the selected recovery point is clean based on the scan results. For more information, see Restore VMware virtual machines using sandbox.
Threat Hunting (VMware): Enhance your security by proactively hunting for hidden threats. Threat Hunting reduces attacker dwell time and strengthens your defense beyond traditional security measures. For more information, see Threat Hunting.
Recovery Intelligence (VMware): Integrates threat intelligence to VMware recovery workflows. The new Cyber Recovery and Trends tabs in VMware restore workflow provide real-time visibility for better protection and restoration. For more information, see Restore VMware virtual machines using Cyber Recovery (Recovery Intelligence).

Oracle DTC
New Feature
Efficient Oracle database restores with file-level search
You can now search for and select individual database files directly from the Restore wizard. Instead of browsing through directory trees, simply type the filename or path into the new search bar to instantly filter results.
This update improves restore efficiency and usability. For more information, see

Enhancement
Resume interrupted full backups
We now support resuming interrupted full backups for Oracle DTC. If a full backup fails or stops mid-way, the system can continue from where it left off instead of restarting the entire backup.
Key benefits
Shorter backup windows: Avoids re-running large full backups from scratch
Efficient resource usage: Skips files that were already backed up
Improved reliability: Reduces the impact of backup failures and retries
This enhancement makes Oracle full backups faster, smarter, and more resilient.
Customer action required: Upgrade agent to version 8.0.0-862505.
Support for Oracle 21c, and 23ai
You can now protect databases running on Oracle 21c and 23ai Enterprise Editions. For more information, see System requirements for Oracle Direct to Cloud.
📝 Note
We currently do not support Oracle Database 21c and 23ai for RAC databases.

Accelerate Oracle data protection with the new multi-section backup support
Druva now supports Oracle RMAN multi-section backup and restore, allowing large datafiles to be split into multiple sections and backed up and restored in parallel.
Key benefits:
Enhanced backup and restore performance
Optimized resource utilization
Reduced backup window for large Oracle databases
📝 Note
Multi-section backups are available for new backup sets only.
For more information, refer to this Oracle documentation.
Customer action required: Upgrade agent to version 8.0.0-862505.
MS SQL
New Feature
Resilient File System support for MS SQL
You can now deploy SQL Server databases on volumes formatted with ReFS.
For more information, see System Requirements for MS-SQL servers.

Enhancement
Enhance MSSQL Failover Cluster Protection with an Upgraded Agent
An upgraded Enterprise Workloads agent for MSSQL Failover Cluster is now available to improve your data protection experience. This new agent enhances support for complex SQL environments by protecting clusters with multiple failover nodes. You can ensure comprehensive protection for high-availability MSSQL cluster setups.
This update improves data protection reliability and simplifies agent maintenance for clustered MSSQL environments.
Customer action required : Upgrade to agent version 8.0.0-862505.
Platform
New Feature
Track credit usage with Credit Consumption Baseline
We have enhanced the Analytics page and Global Dashboard with Credit Consumption Baseline, a new feature that provides clearer visibility into your Druva credits. It lets you compare planned credit usage with actual consumption through intuitive visuals, making it easy to see whether your credit utilization is on track, in surplus, or trending toward a deficit.
With this feature, you can:
Track consumption against plan: Instantly visualize deviations between actual credit usage and the contracted baseline on the Consumption Insights page.
Monitor comprehensively: View both credit balance and consumption baseline data directly on the Backup Data graph on the Global Dashboard.
For more information, see View the Consumption Insights on the Analytics Page.
