View the status and details of all restore jobs for user workloads

Overview

This report provides details of all the restore activities performed during a specified period. The following screenshot depicts a sample Restore Activity Report.

Quick Filters

  • Workload: Select the desired workload from the drop-down menu.

  • Profile: Choose the user profile by which you want to filter.

  • Mode: Choose the type of restore operation.

  • Status: Select the status of the restore operation.

Summary

  • Total Restores: The total number of restores triggered.

  • Total Data Restored: The total amount of data restored.

  • Restore Successful: The number of restores processed successfully without errors.

  • Restore Failed: The number of restores that failed.

  • Restore With Error: The number of restores processed successfully with errors.

Restore Status Details

  • Restore Job Status: The pie chart depicts the restore statuses of the users for the selected profile, such as successful or failed. Hovering on the individual legends of the graph displays the count of restore based on their status.

  • Restore Activity Daily Trend: Daily trend of the restores of the users for the selected profile. When you hover over this chart, you can view the total number of restore jobs and the date on which the restore operation was performed.

Restore Activity Details

  • User Name: The name of the user.

  • User Email ID: The email address of the user.

  • Workload: The name of the M365 apps, such as OneDrive or Exchange Online.

  • Profile: The profile that is assigned to the user.

  • Mode: The type of restore operation based on its origin such as Self/admin/web.

  • Restore location: the location of the restored file.

  • Start Time: The date and time on which the restore operation started.

  • End Time: The date and time on which the restore operation was completed.

  • Item Restored: The number of files and folders that were restored.

  • Items Missed: The number of files and folders that were not restored.

  • Restore Size: The size of the data in MB that was restored.

  • Restore Status: The status of the restore operation.
