Thank you for trusting us to protect your AI-powered workflows. As we conclude the free trial phase of our Claude Backup offering and introduce our official commercial plans, we have compiled this comprehensive guide to help you navigate the transition. Below, you will find detailed answers regarding the upgrade process, billing, security, and ongoing support.
Upgrade Process and Deadlines
What is the deadline to upgrade my account?
Customers currently on the free trial must upgrade to a paid commercial plan by October 31 to maintain uninterrupted service.
How do I initiate the upgrade to a paid plan?
To upgrade, please reach out directly to your Druva Account Representative. They will assist you in selecting the right licensing tier for your organization's specific requirements.
Will there be any downtime or reconfiguration required?
No. The transition is completely seamless. All of your existing Claude snapshots and configurations will carry over instantly without requiring any new installation.
Data Protection, Security, and Retention
What happens to my data if I do not upgrade by October 31?
If a paid license is not activated by the October 31 deadline, your trial will expire. Claude data follows the standard retention period for Endpoints configured by the customer.
Is my backed-up data secure during the transition?
Absolutely. Your data remains continuously captured and securely retained in our isolated, air-gapped cloud environment.
What happens if my trial expires before I upgrade?
If you do not transition to a paid SKU before your trial expires, the system applies the following changes:Cloud Backups: Druva stops new cloud backup operations for Claude.
Endpoint Backups: Standard endpoint backups continue to run normally.
Cloud Configurations: Druva removes your Claude cloud backup configurations.
Does Druva delete my historical backup data immediately when the trial expires?
No. Although expiration stops new cloud backups and removes cloud configurations, Claude data follows the standard retention period for endpoints configured by the customer.
