Problem description
While conducting a folder-level search in SharePoint snapshots, the error 'Displaying the first 3000 items only. To view additional items, use the search functionality.' is encountered. As a result, we are unable to restore specific folders from the snapshots.
Cause:
This is a known product limitation designed to display only 3,000 items for folders containing more than 3,000 items to ensure optimization.
Resolution:
A feature request has been submitted to the product team to enhance this functionality.
Workaround:
You can use the search functionality on the restore page to search the files which you are looking for and perform the restore/download activity.
