Overview
This article addresses the limitation of the Druva eDiscovery Download Client regarding direct data downloads to NAS storage devices. Currently, the client does not support NAS as a destination for eDiscovery data.
Problem
Direct download of eDiscovery data to NAS storage is not currently supported by the Druva eDiscovery Download Client.
Attempts to download data to NAS will fail due to this inherent limitation in the client's current design.
Recommended Steps (Workaround)
To successfully download eDiscovery data, please use one of the following supported storage types:
SAN (Storage Area Network)
File Share (e.g., a shared folder on a server or a local drive accessible as a share)
