Dru AI Insights provides AI-driven analysis of backup and operational metadata. It helps customers quickly understand trends, anomalies, and key changes within their data protection environment directly from reports and dashboards. Dru AI Insights is available for reports.
Dru AI Insights uses data from the report that you are looking at and identifies most important information and actions. This allows you to focus on the most important items without going through the entire report.

Considerations
Dru AI Insights follows Druva’s security and privacy standards:
Metadata-based analysis only
Insights are generated using backup metadata. Backed-up customer data content is not accessed or analyzed.
Secure platform operations
All processing occurs within the Druva cloud platform and inherits existing security, encryption, and compliance controls.
Role-based access control
Visibility of AI insights follows existing user roles and permissions configured in the Druva platform.
Data privacy protection
Metadata used for insights remains within the customer’s Druva environment and is not shared externally.
Procedure
To get a comprehensive overview and actionable recommendations for your backup
From the Druva Cloud Platform dashboard, select the Global Navigation Menu and click Reports
Select the desired workload from the left navigation pane and click the required report for which you want to view insights.
On the report page, locate the Dru AI section at the top and click the Get Insights option.
This section provides the following insights:Key trends and patterns
Detected anomalies( if any)
Important changes in the environment
Suggested actions or recommendations
Use the provided recommendations to:
Investigate potential issues
Optimize backup or operational settings
Take corrective or preventive actions
