Enhancement

Failsafe logins removed from the login page

Starting February 13, 2025, Druva has removed the failsafe option for accounts that have Single Sign-On (SSO) configured. Earlier, Cloud administrators could use this option to sign into their accounts with a username and password, if they did not want to sign in using their SSO provider.

If you still want to use the failsafe option, contact Druva support for assistance.

If you are a legal hold admin, you can use the Sign in as a Legal Hold Admin link on the login page.

New Feature

Introducing Inactive Administrator Policy for administrator account management

We have introduced the Inactive Administrator Policy designed to enhance administrator account management.

Key highlights:

  • Druva Cloud Administrators can now set a specific inactivity period for administrator accounts.

  • Administrator accounts that remain inactive beyond the defined period will be automatically disabled.

This feature helps ensure that only active administrators have access to the Druva environment, effectively managing the lifecycle of administrator accounts and minimizing exposure to potential attacks.
For more information, see Configure Inactive Administrator Policy.

New Feature

Introducing Data Governance Reports APIs

We've added APIs for Data Governance reports in our common reporting framework in addition to the reports on our cloud platform user interface. Now, as per your requirements, you can quickly get report data.

You can build integrations to obtain specific data for various use cases. For example, you can:

  • Track the status of workloads periodically and trigger automated responses using third-party apps or custom scripts. For example, you can create a ticket to inform an administrator if there’s a file that violates your company’s compliance policies.

  • Keep a close eye on critical activities such as compliance violations. This visibility allows you to proactively address any issues that may arise.

  • Run narrowed-down diagnostics using filters to provide evidence during audits.

  • Build personalized reports or a view to monitor all your data.

With these new APIs, you'll have more flexibility and control over your reporting.

For more information, see Getting Started with Reports API.
