Step 1- Configure Admin Roles

Ensure you have the correct permissions:

  • Okta Super Admin: Required to authorize the API connection.

  • Druva Cloud Admin: Manages global settings.

  • Druva Product Admin: Handles daily monitoring.

Step 2- Set Up the Integration

Generate a Client ID and Client Secret in the Okta Admin Console under API Service Integrations.

Step 3- Start Backups

Initiate your first backup to secure users, groups, and policies. Verify your storage region and retention settings before saving. You can also run manual backups at any time via the dashboard.

Step 4- Monitoring

Gain real-time visibility through the Druva dashboard. Track protection status, analyze 7-day backup trends, and review snapshot statistics to ensure continuous data integrity.
