Use the Agents and Proxies page to upgrade multiple agents or proxies to the latest versions in a single click.
Bulk upgrades can be applied to the following scopes:
Multiple organizations: Upgrades agents across multiple organizations.
Single organization: Upgrades agents within one specific organization.
Specific workload: Upgrades agents associated with a selected workload type.
📝 Note
It is recommended that you always upgrade your agent/proxy to the latest version for better performance and security.
Supported Workloads
Agents and proxies for the following workloads can be upgraded from the Agents and Proxies page:
File Servers
MS SQL
NAS
VMware
TurboTier
Hyper-V
Hyper-V FLR
Oracle Phoenix Backup Store (PBS)
Oracle Direct to Cloud (DTC)
Nutanix AHV
Disaster Recovery
Procedure
Log in to the Enterprise Workloads Management Console.
If organizations are not enabled, select Agents and Proxies from the Manage menu.
If organizations are enabled, you can select to upgrade agents for all organizations. Then, select Agents and Proxies from the Manage menu.
Alternatively, you can select a specific organization from the top navigation menu, if you want to upgrade agents for that particular organization. Then, select Agents and Proxies from the Manage menu.
Select the workload and then you can select all or specific agents/proxies that you want to upgrade and click Upgrade.
On the confirmation dialog box, click Yes.
📝 Note
It is recommended to upgrade a small number of agents/proxies and monitor the behaviour before proceeding to a bulk upgrade.
Alternate method to upgrade
Alternatively, you can also upgrade agents or proxies directly from the individual workload consoles.
