Azure Cloud Storage for Enterprise Workloads

This article provides an overview of the Azure cloud storage supported for Enterprise Workloads

Updated yesterday

You can store your backup data to the supported regions in Azure Storage or AWS Storage. For new deployments, you can select the storage type.

For your workload, you can select the storage type while configuring your resources for backup.

Example:

When configuring your backup proxy for Nutanix AHV (on the Configure for Backup page), you can map a region to a storage type:

  • If you've provisioned only Azure Storage, you can select from any of the Druva-supported Azure regions.

  • If you've provisioned both AWS and Azure Storage, you can select one of the supported regions for either.

You can configure Azure Storage for the following:

  • AWS EC2

  • Azure VMs

  • Azure SQL

  • Azure Blob Storage

  • Azure Files

  • VMware

  • Nutanix AHV

  • File Servers

  • NAS

  • SAP HANA

  • Oracle DTC

  • Oracle PBS

  • MS SQL

  • CloudCache R4

Azure Storage is not supported for the following:

  • Hyper-V

  • Disaster Recovery
