You can store your backup data to the supported regions in Azure Storage or AWS Storage. For new deployments, you can select the storage type.
For your workload, you can select the storage type while configuring your resources for backup.

When configuring your backup proxy for Nutanix AHV (on the Configure for Backup page), you can map a region to a storage type:
If you've provisioned only Azure Storage, you can select from any of the Druva-supported Azure regions.
If you've provisioned both AWS and Azure Storage, you can select one of the supported regions for either.
