The Data Protection Risk report is available with the new Security Command Center.


Purpose

What information does this report provide

Data Protection Risk report provides a consolidated view of the connection status of the Hybrid workload agents with Cloud.

This report is available for the following workloads

  • NAS

  • File Server

  • MS-SQL

  • Hyper-V

  • VMware

  • Oracle Phoenix Backup Store

  • Oracle Direct to Cloud

How does the report help

With this report, you can proactively identify agents that are disconnected from Druva Cloud; hence backups are stopped, and recovery points are not created. With this information available well in time, you can take corrective actions, resume the backups, and mitigate data protection risks.

Example

Here's an example of how the Data Protection Risk report helps to uncover data risks.

  • Workload type: VMware

  • Last backup (RPO): 1st January 2022, 12.05 AM

  • Backup proxy disconnected time from Druva Cloud: 1st January, 5.00 AM

  • Organization impacted: Organization A

  • Data protection risk uncovered: No recovery points are created for the VMware of Organization A after 1st January 2022 5.00 AM

To access the report

You need to be a Druva Cloud Administrator

  • Go to Druva Cloud Platform Console Global Navigation > Reports > Cyber Resilience > Data Protection Risk report.

  • You can access the Data Protection Risk report from Security Command Center within the Data Protection Risks widget.

Depending on the workload you are protecting, the following information is displayed.

NAS

Field

NAS Proxy

Name of the disconnected NAS proxy.

Organization

The organization in which the proxy is deployed.

Disconnected from Cloud since

The date and time since the backup proxy is disconnected from Druva Cloud.

File Server

Field

Description

File Server

Name of the disconnected file server.

Organization

The organization in which the server is deployed.

Disconnected from Cloud since

The date and time since the file server is disconnected from Druva Cloud.

MS-SQL

Field

Description

MS-SQL Server

Name of the disconnected MS-SQL Server.

Organization

The organization in which the resource is deployed.

Disconnected from Cloud since

The date and time since the resource is disconnected from Druva Cloud.

Oracle Phoenix Backup Store

Field

Description

Phoenix Backup Store

Name of the disconnected Phoenix Backup Store.

Organization

The organization in which the store is deployed.

Disconnected from Cloud since

The date and time since the store is disconnected from Druva Cloud.

Oracle Direct to Cloud

Field

Description

Oracle Server

Name of the disconnected Oracle Server.

Organization

The organization in which the server is deployed.

Disconnected from Cloud since

The date and time since the server is disconnected from Druva Cloud.

Hyper-V

Field

Description

Host

Name of the disconnected Hyper-V host.

Organization

The organization in which the host is deployed.

Disconnected from Cloud since

The date and time since the host is disconnected with Druva cloud.

VMware

Field

Description

Backup Proxy

Name of the disconnected backup proxy.

vCenter/ESXi hosts

Name the vCentre or ESXi host where you deployed the backup proxy.

Organization

The organization in which the proxy is deployed.

Connection status to vCenter

The current connection status with vCenter.

Disconnected from Cloud since

The date and time since the backup proxy is disconnected with Druva Cloud.

Action

Description

Subscribe to report

You can schedule and subscribe to receive reports over email as a CSV file or a PDF. A subscription can be created for other members of the organizations too.

Note: By default, the timestamp of the data fetched in the report follows the UTC time zone.

Email the report

You can email the report in CSV or PDF format on demand to other recipients.

Download widget data

You can download the widget data in CSV or PDF format.

Add Filters to get a report with more granular data

Global filter: You can create a global filter, page filter, or panel filter to fetch details based on your requirements.
