Data Distribution by Objects
This chart displays the distribution of objects archived by this archival data set. Hover over the shaded area to see more information related to that area.
Archival Task
This chart shows the number of records processed in the five most recent archival tasks. Hover over any data point to see the record count for every object archived.
Archival Content tab
You can view, download, or restore archived records in this section.
You can also search the records based on index fields and view records across all snapshots.
📝 Note
The Archival Content tab opens directly to the multi-object selection screen. Previously, it auto-loaded the first object's records, which caused delays on archival sets with many objects. The updated behavior improves performance by loading on demand.
On the Salesforce App Console, click Archival.
Click the Archival Content tab.
You can use the following filters to find the records:
Search Objects: Use this option to search for an object by name.
Where Clause: Use this option to filter using a where clause of SOQL
For further details, see Restore Archived Data.
📝 Note
You can use the Where clause filter for the indexed fields.
You can see a maximum of 500 records at a time. If you wish to view more records, download the CSV by clicking Download.
Tasks
You can see the status of the task in the following three places:
Tasks tab: shows the tasks for the archival set
Floating Tasks window: shows the quick summary of the recent tasks for the Salesforce application
Tasks page: shows the details of all the tasks of the Salesforce application
Use the Tasks page to troubleshoot any failed jobs and identify pending or completed jobs. To learn more about the Tasks page, see Tasks.
Delete an Archival Set
You can delete an Archival set you no longer require. Deleting an Archival set also deletes the associated Data Templates and Archival Content. You can download the Data Templates and Archival Content that will be deleted along with the Archival set in a CSV file and evaluate it further before deleting it.
