Deleting A Profile

This section defines the procedure and critical constraints for removing a backup profile from the Druva Console.

❗ Warning: Deleting a backup profile is a permanent action.

Pre-Deletion Checklist (Blockers)

You cannot delete a profile if any of the following conditions are true:

  • Default Profile: The profile is currently set as the Default Profile for the Microsoft Power Platform workload.

  • Auto-Configuration: An active Auto-Configuration Rule is mapped to this profile.

  • Data Lock: The profile has Data Lock enabled. Security policies prohibit the deletion of profiles protected by Data Lock.


Deletion Procedure

 Deletion Procedure

  1. Navigation: Go to Druva Cloud Platform Console > All Services > Microsoft Power Platform > Backup Profiles.

  2. Selection: In the profile listing, select the checkbox next to the profile name.

  3. Action: Click the Delete button (above profile listing).

  4. Confirmation: In the confirmation dialog:

    • Reason (Optional): Provide a reason for the deletion for audit logs.

Finalize: Click Delete to confirm.
