Problem Description
Backup jobs for a File Server or SQL Server fail with the error: "Error occurred during Initialize Backup operation."
Both differential and log backup attempts were unsuccessful.
Cause
When attempting to restart Druva services, the following error appeared:
"Error 1067: The process terminated unexpectedly."
This occurred because the Druva-EnterpriseWorkloads Service failed to start.
Common reasons include:
Corrupted Phoenix Agent installation.
Underlying operating system issues preventing service startup.

Verify System Resources & Logs
Check free disk space, memory, and CPU availability.
Review Windows Event Viewer for related errors.
Remove Corrupted Phoenix Agent Installation
Stop all Druva-related services.
Uninstall Phoenix Agent via Control Panel → Programs and Features.
Reinstall Latest Phoenix Agent
Download the latest installer from the Druva portal.
Run the installation as Administrator.
Re-register the server in Druva Console if required.
Confirm Service Functionality
Ensure Druva-EnterpriseWorkloads Service is running.
Perform a test backup to verify functionality.
