Problem description

The system fails to connect to the cloud when manually activating an endpoint.

Below mentioned errors are observed:

Resolution

Follow the below steps to resolve the error.

Step 01: Selecting Workgroup

  1. Use a local administrator account to log on to the computer.

  2. Select Start, then press and hold (or right-click) Computer > Properties.

  3. Click to Change settings next to the computer name.

  4. On the Computer Name tab, select Change.

  5. Select Workgroup under the Member of heading, type a workgroup name and then select OK.

  6. The system will prompt for restart. Select OK to restart the device.

Step 02: Selecting Domain

  1. Once the device restarts as mention in Step 01, On the Computer Name tab, select Change again.

  2. Now, select Domain under the Member of heading and type a Domain name.

  3. Select OK, and enter user credentials who have permissions in the domain.

  4. The device will prompt for restart. Select OK to restart the device.
