Sign in to Managed Services Center
To provide robust security for Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and their customers, the Managed Services Center (MSC) utilizes a secure authentication framework. This centralized model requires robust security protocols to prevent unauthorized access.
This article explains the different methods administrators can use to securely sign in to the Managed Services Center.
First-Time Login and Security Updates
The MSC has updated its authentication framework to enforce stronger security baselines across all accounts. If this is your first time logging in since these updates were applied, you will experience a mandated setup process before you can access the console.
During your first login:
Password Reset: All administrators must immediately update their passwords to comply with the new Strong Password Policy, regardless of their current password. The new password must be between 12 and 64 characters long and include at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one number, and one special character.
MFA Configuration: All commercial accounts are now mandated to configure Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) using an Authenticator App (TOTP). You cannot proceed to the MSC dashboard until this configuration is complete.
Note for Evaluation Accounts: Administrators using Evaluation (Eval) MSP accounts will have the option to skip or disable the MFA configuration during login. However, once the account converts to a commercial license, the MFA configuration prompt will become mandatory upon your next login.
Method 1: Standard Login (Password + MFA)
This is the default sign-in method for administrators whose organizations have not enabled Single Sign-On (SSO).
Go to the Managed Services Center login page.
Enter your registered Email Address and click Next.
Enter your Password and click Login.
Note: Passwords expire every 60 days by default. If your password has expired, you will be prompted to reset it at this stage.
Authenticate via MFA: Open your linked authenticator app (e.g., Microsoft Authenticator, Google Authenticator, Authy) and enter the 6-digit Time-Based One-Time Password (TOTP) displayed on your device.
Click Verify to access the MSC dashboard.
Forgot your password? Click the Forgot Password? link on the login screen to securely reset your credentials via an email link. You will be required to set a password that meets the Strong Password Policy requirements.
Method 2: Single Sign-On (SSO) Login
If your organization has configured Single Sign-On (SSO) with an Identity Provider (IdP) like Entra ID or Okta, you will use your corporate credentials to access the MSC.
Go to the Managed Services Center login page.
Enter your registered Email Address and click Next.
The MSC will detect that your account is configured for SSO and will redirect you to your organization's IdP login page.
Enter your corporate credentials (and complete any secondary authentication required by your IdP).
Upon successful verification, your IdP will assert your identity back to Druva, and you will be redirected to the MSC dashboard.
Method 3: Failsafe Administrator Login
If your organization uses SSO, your MSP Administrator may have enabled the Failsafe for Administrators setting. This provides a backup login method for designated MSP Admins. Use this method if your organization's Identity Provider (IdP) is experiencing an outage or the SSO connection fails.
To log in using the Failsafe method:
Go to the Managed Services Center login page.
Enter your registered Email Address.
Instead of being redirected to your IdP, you will see a link labeled "Not using Single Sign-On?". Select this option.
Enter your MSC-specific Password.
Complete your mandated MFA verification (via Authenticator App or SMS).
Click Verify to log in.
Note: Only MSP Administrators have the privilege to use the failsafe password login if SSO is enabled. Tenant Admins and Read-only Admins must authenticate via the IdP. If the failsafe option is disabled by your MSP Admin, the password login option will be unavailable to all administrators.
