For a Hyper-V server, you can restore the following virtual machine recovery points:
When you trigger a restore, Druva lets you choose the type of recovery point you want to use to restore your data. You can also delete recovery points when you select recovery points for restore. The types of recovery points you can use to restore virtual machines are described in the following sections.

βYou cannot delete the most recent recovery point of a virtual machine.
Warm recovery point restore
A Warm recovery point restore is restoring of a point-in-time image of the backed up virtual machine that are stored in the warm storage of the Druva Cloud. Such a restore operation continues until the server data is restored to the specified location.
How to restore warm recovery points
Log in to Management Console.
select the workload from the Protect menu. Note that if the All Organizations menu is enabled, you have to first select an organization and then select the workload.
In the left navigation pane, click Configured VMs.
In the right pane, select the backup set that you want to restore and then click Restore.
In the Recovery point Viewer, click the Warm tab, select the recovery point, and then click Restore.
Cold recovery point restore

The availability of this feature is limited based on the license type, region, and other criteria. To access this feature, contact your Druva Account Manager or Druva Support. This content is subject to change based on the continuous improvements to this feature.
Cold recovery points are point-in-time copies of backup data older than 15, 30, 45, or 60 days. These recovery points are stored in the Amazon Glacier Deep Archive. To restore data from cold recovery points, data needs to be first retrieved from Amazon Glacier Deep Archive before a restore can be triggered. At the time of restoration, data from the cold tier is retrieved, moved temporarily to the warm tier, and then restored. Once you click Restore and initiate the restoration process, the data retrieval from the cold tier and its restore from the warm tier happen automatically. Warmed up data is deleted from the warm tier after 10 days.
How to restore cold recovery points

Hot recovery point restore
A hot recovery point restore is an on-demand restore of the server data that resides on CloudCache. Hot recovery points are point-in-time images of backed up virtual machines stored on CloudCache. Such a restore operation continues until your server data is restored to the specified location.
How to restore hot recovery points
