While resolving a violation, a Compliance administrator has the following five options:
Acceptable Risk
Quarantine
Resolve
False Positive
Delete
For more information, see the How do I resolve a compliance violation? article.
Amongst this, apart from Quarantine, rest all of the resolution options are visible and available to the end user by default when you enable end user violation visibility for a compliance policy.
However, you can choose to display only selective resolution options to the end user when they resolve a violation. In addition, you can rename the resolution option and add a description to help users better understand the scenarios when they should use that particular option.
But you cannot change or rename the resolution options visible to administrators. When an administrator resolves a violation, she will see the pre-defined resolution options.
Procedure

On the Sensitive Data Governance page , click Configure > Settings.
In the End User Violation Visibility section, click Edit.
In the Resolution Status Mapping section, select the resolution status that you want to edit and click Edit. You have the following options:
Enter Custom Resolution Status for End Users - Type in the phrase that you want users to see for this resolution option.
For example, if your organization creates software for the healthcare industry, machines belonging to the Software QA team can contain mock patient-related sensitive data for testing purposes. inSync might find violations in this mock data and report a violation. In this case, you can use the phrase “Mock test data” as the custom resolution status for the Acceptable Risk resolution option.Enter Description - Type in details that will help users decide when they should select this resolution status. If you consider the above example, the following can be a good description: Mock patient-related sensitive data used by the QA team for testing.
Visible to End Users - Select if you want this resolution option to be visible to end users. If you believe that allowing users to use this option can make your organization non-compliant as per internal and external compliance requirements, you can clear this check box.
