This page provides a centralized summary of configured Google Workspace applications, backup status, and license consumption.
How to Access the Overview Page
To navigate to the Google Workspace dashboard:
Sign in to the Druva Cloud Platform Console.
Access Google Workspace using one of the following options:
On the homepage, click the Google Workspace card.
From the navigation menu, click the hamburger icon (☰), and then select Google Workspace under Data Protection.

Restore Summary
The following information is displayed on the Summary section on the Overview page:
Summary Card
The Summary section visualizes data distribution and connectivity status for Gmail, Google Drive, and Shared Drives.
Component | Description |
App-wise Size Distribution | A pie chart showing total backup size and percentage distribution across Gmail, Google Drive, and Shared Drives. 📝NOTE: My Computer files are excluded from backups and restores. Only My Drive and Shared Drives are protected. However, My Computer files may be included in estimation API calculations. |
App Status | Indicates if the app is Connected (functioning) or Not Connected (requires reconfiguration). |
Last Configured | The timestamp of the most recent successful configuration. |
📝NOTE: The tilde symbol (~) in percentage distribution indicate decimal values. For example, a value of 0.1% is displayed as ~0%.
Live Activity Card
This card displays the number of backup and restore activities that are currently in progress.
License card
The License section displays Active and Preserved licenses. Statistics refresh every 7-10 minutes.
Active License: Licenses consumed by current, active users.
Preserved License: Licenses consumed by users who are no longer active but whose data is retained.

Administrative Visibility:
Cloud Administrators can view total allocated and consumed counts for both license types for all configured workloads and profiles.
Non-Cloud Administrators:
With Manage User permission can view consumed counts for assigned workloads and profiles.
Without Manage User permission can view only Active license consumption for assigned workloads and profiles..
Workload-Specific Cards
The Configured Google Workspace Apps section provides granular metrics for individual services.
Application | Metrics Displayed |
Gmail | Total mailboxes protected, total backup size, and a backup status pie chart (Success/Failed/Backed up with Errors). |
Google Drive | Total users protected, total backup size, and a backup status pie chart (Success/Failed/Backed up with Errors). |
Shared Drives | Total Shared Drives protected, total backup size, and a backup status pie chart (Success/Failed/Backed up with Errors). |
