To back up Azure Blob or Azure Files storage accounts with restricted network access, you must configure the network mapping in Druva. This ensures the Quantum Bridge VM can communicate with your storage account.
Prerequisites
An Azure subscription registered with Druva.
A VNet and subnet with outbound connectivity to reach the Druva control plane.
Specific ports and URLs whitelisted in your firewall.
Before configuring, ensure that you update your Azure tenant registration.
Procedure
Log in to the Enterprise Workloads Management Console.
Navigate to the Azure Workloads. Select your workload: Azure Blob Storage or Azure Files.
Identify the storage account you want to configure. Any storage accounts requiring configuration will display a Configure Network link or a Reconfigure link if settings have drifted.
Click Configure Network.
Select the following details:
If Storage account is Disabled: Choose the Private endpoint. The associated VNet and Subnet will be displayed.
If Storage account is enabled with selected networks: Choose the VNet and Subnet.
Click Configure.
Managing Network Configuration Changes
If the underlying Azure network configuration changes (e.g., a VNet is deleted or a Service Endpoint is disabled), it is detected as a "drift". In such cases:
A Reconfigure link appears in the storage account listing.
The Create Backup Set option is disabled until the network is reconfigured.
