Provision New Storage for Enterprise Workloads

Overview

This article provides a step-by-step guide on how to initiate and manage new storage requests for your Enterprise Workloads using the Management Console. Whether your business requirements call for AWS or Azure, you will learn how to easily navigate the console to select your preferred storage type, designate a specific region, and track the status of your request from initiation through Druva's review and final provisioning.

Procedure

  1. Log into your management console and navigate to the Storage page.

  2. Click Request New Storage.

  3. Select the storage type, AWS or Azure, depending on your business requirements. If you are provisioning Azure storage, refer to the documentation to learn more about the workloads supported on Azure Cloud and the regions supported for Azure Cloud storage.

  4. Select the Storage Region to set up the storage and specify an appropriate Storage Name.

Once the storage request is initiated, Druva reviews the request. Once the review is complete, the storage on Druva Cloud is provisioned. Upon completion, the Storage Requests page displays all available Cloud Storage with the relevant Status.

  • Requested: Indicates that a new Storage has been requested and is pending approval. Once approved, the status is updated accordingly.

  • Provisioned: Indicates that the request has been approved and Cloud Storage has been provisioned in the Region specified.
