Manage a Service Plan

Overview

A Service Plan is an option that helps Managed Service Partners (MSP) to map Data Protection and Governance services for their customers to the tailor-made service plans (all editions) and subscribe to them to use this feature.

Access path

Login to Managed Services Center portal (MSC) and then click Service Plans. A list of existing service plans is displayed.

Here's how you can manage the service plans:

View the service plan details

You can view the existing service plan details.

To view the details of a specific service plan, click Service Plan Name.
By default, the Details tab is displayed.

The following table provides information displayed on the service plans Details tab.

Field

Description

Details tab

Summary

Displays the service plan name.

Products

Displays the product details for the selected service plan.

Hybrid Workloads - In this section, you can view the Hybrid Workloads details including edition, workloads assigned, backup frequency limit, and retention limit you have added while creating the service plan.

SaaS Apps and Endpoints - In this section, you can view the Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and Endpoints, details including edition, workloads assigned, backup frequency, and retention limit you have added while creating the service plan.

Actions from the Details tab:

  • To edit the service plan details, click Edit. For more information, see Edit Service Plan.

  • To delete a service plan, click the Vertical three dots >Delete. For more information, see Delete Service Plan.

The following table provides information displayed on the service plans Customers tab.

Field

Description

Customers tab

Name

Displays the Account Name details provided by the MSP administrator while creating the customer.

Product

Displays the product details included in the service plan. It can either be Hybrid Workloads or SaaS Apps and Endpoints, or both.

Quota

Displays the details of the storage allocated to the service plan.

​On the Customers tab, use the Export to CSV option to export customer details as a CSV file.


Edit the service plan details

To edit the details of existing service plans:

  1. On the Service Plans page, select a service plan that you want to edit and click Edit.

  2. In the Edit Service Plan page, make the required changes and click Save. For more information, see service plan details.

Delete a service plan


πŸ“ Note
​ To delete a service plan, ensure that the service plan is not associated with any customer account.


To delete a service plan:

  1. On the Service Plans page, select the service plan you want to delete.

  2. Click the Vertical three dots> Delete.

  3. On the Delete Confirmation dialog box, click Yes.

Alternatively, you can delete and edit a service plan from the Service Plans details page.

Search a service plan

To search for a service plan:

  1. On the Service Plans page, enter the name of the service plan you want to view in the Service Plan search box.

  2. Press Enter to view service plan details.

Filter the service plans list

To narrow down the list and view required service plans:

  1. On the Service Plans page, click the Filter icon.

  2. Provide the required parameters and click Apply to apply the filters. You can filter the list of service plans by specifying the Products, Edition, and Workloads parameters.

  3. Click Reset to make any changes to your filter parameter selection, and then click Apply.

Export service plan details

To export the service plan details to a CSV format:

  1. On the Service Plans page, click Export To CSV.

  2. On the Select Exportable Columns window, select the required column name you want to export, and then click Export To CSV.
    Use the Select All option to export all service plan details.

Customize table column

MSC portal allows you to resize the column width of the Service Plans listing page.

To resize a column width, drag the column border to the desired location to display the required information.
