Overview
You have to create an upgrade request to convert a customer from evaluation to commercial.
Commercial customers cannot be converted to evaluation customers.
To upgrade a customer from Evaluation to Commercial, the MSP administrator can make the edits but the changes are not displayed immediately. An upgrade request is generated and sent to Support to enable the upgrade.
But if you are an MSP administrator who has access to change the customer type from Evaluation to Commercial directly, you do not have to send an upgrade request toDruvaand can make the upgrade directly.

To upgrade the customer from Evaluation to Commercial
On the inSync MSP Console menu bar, click Customers. The Manage Customers page is displayed.
Navigate to Manage Customers > Evaluation.Select the required customer. The selected customer's details are displayed.
On the Edit Customer Details page, under License & Edition, select the Customer Type as Commercial from the drop down list.
Select the License Expiry, Total Users, Preferred Time Zone details and click Next.
On the Add-on Details page, edit the add-ons as required and click Upgrade.
A request email containing all details specific to the upgrade is sent to the following recipients:
Admin who has placed the request
Support
A request pending message is displayed on the Customer information page.After the upgrade is completed and the customer is successfully upgraded to commercial, the icon will no longer be visible.
Upgrade customer directly
AnMSPadministrator assigned access to create, edit, upgrade or suspend new customers can upgrade existing Evaluation customers. This access is granted to the MSP when the MSP is created.
To upgrade an Evaluation customer to Commercial directly
On the inSync MSP Console menu bar, navigate to Customers > Manage Customers and select the type of customer as Evaluation. Click on the customer name. The selected customer details are displayed.
On the Edit Customer Details page, under License & Edition, select the Customer Type as Commercial from the drop down list. The Terms and Conditions window is displayed. Click Accept to continue upgrading the Evaluation customer to Commercial.
Select the License Expiry, Total Users, Preferred Time Zone details and click Next.
Under the Add-on Details tab, edit the required Add-ons details and click Upgrade.The Terms and Conditions window is displayed. Click Accept to complete upgrading the Evaluation customer to Commercial Customer.
The upgraded customer's details will be displayed under Manage Customers > Commercial tab.
