Overview
The Druva platform provides configurable email notification settings for Ransomware Recovery alerts, allowing administrators to stay informed about potential threats and recovery events. The notification system is designed to deliver timely and relevant information based on the selected frequency, ensuring that admins can respond appropriately to incidents.
Ransomware Recovery alerts are generated for specific events related to ransomware detection, recovery actions, and data anomalies. These alerts help administrators monitor and respond to suspicious activities or recovery operations.
Available Email Notification Frequencies
Following are the email notification frequencies for Ransomware Recovery alerts:
Instantaneous - An email is sent immediately as soon as the Ransomware Recovery alert is generated. This ensures real-time awareness of critical events, allowing for prompt action.
Daily digest - Compiles all Ransomware Recovery alerts generated the previous day into a single email. Provides a summary of daily events to preserve visibility while decreasing the number of emails received.
Weekly digest - Consolidates weekly Ransomware Recovery alerts into a single email delivered on every Monday of the following week. Provides a comprehensive overview of weekly activity, suitable for periodic review and reporting.
Define the Email Notification settings
From Cyber Resiliency > Security Center menu bar, click the bell icon from the the top navigation menu to view the list of alerts.
On the Alerts Page, click Settings on the left Pane.
Select the alert for which you want to receive notification emails and click Edit.
If you want only specific Druva Cloud Administrators to receive the notification email, in Subscribers, select Specific Administrators and choose the administrators from the drop-down. If you want all Druva Cloud administrators to receive the notification email, select All Druva Cloud Administrator.
In Email Frequency, define the frequency at which you want the alert emails to be sent.
Instantaneous - An email is sent as soon as the alert is generated.
Daily digest - All the alerts generated the previous day are collated and sent in a single email.
Weekly digest - All the alerts generated the previous week are collated and sent in a single email on Monday of the following week.
Click Save.
