Overview
The Data Protection Violations Report summarizes all protection events where defined rules were not met. This enables administrators to quickly identify specific resources that require immediate attention to maintain compliance and data integrity.
Note:
Default View: By default, the report displays Active alerts from the last 30 days.
Data Synchronization: Data synchronization occurs periodically; new changes or updates will be reflected in the report within 6 hours.
Accessing the Report
To view violation details, follow these steps:
Log in to the Managed Service Center (MSC) console.
Navigate to Reports > Service Monitoring.
Click on Data Protection Violations.
Managing the Report
Report Summary: Field Descriptions
The table below describes each column in the report.
Fields | Description |
Customer Name | The name of the customer. |
Account Name | The internal account name used by Druva to identify the customer. |
Service Plan | The name of the service plan assigned to the customer.
Note: This field applies only to MSC Provisioned customers and will display a dash (-) for Druva Provisioned customers.

Product | The product category: Enterprise Workloads or SaaS Apps & Endpoints. |
Rule Name | The name assigned to the data protection rule. |
Rule Type | The metric being tracked: Recovery Point Objective, Backup Success Rate, or Consecutive Backup Failures. |
Duration | The time window defined for the rule. Note: Recovery Point Objective rules do not have a duration and will display N.A. |
Resources Observed | The violated resource. Applicable only to the Backup Success Rate rule type. |
Workload | The workloads within the resource that are being evaluated. |
Resource Name | The specific resource that violated the rule. Note: This field is blank for Backup Success Rate violations. |
Last Successful Backup | The timestamp of the last backup job for the affected resource. |
Threshold | The specific performance limit set by the administrator for the rule. |
Observed Value | The actual value recorded at the time of the violation. |
Generated On | The date and timestamp when the alert was triggered. |
State | The current status of the alert: Active or Disabled. |
Updated On | The timestamp of the last update to the violation. |
Last Sync | The most recent time the data was synchronized. |
Customer Global ID | The unique global identifier assigned to the customer within the Druva platform. |
MSP Global ID | The unique identifier for MSP login. |
Alert ID | Unique identifier of alert generated for violation. |
Service Plan ID | The unique identifier for the service plan.
Note: This field applies only to MSC Provisioned customers and will display -1 for Druva Provisioned customers. |
Note: Resources are the Backup Sets for Enterprise Workloads and Org and User sets for Saas Apps and Endpoints.

Add filter | Creates and applies filters to display customized report data. |
Rearrange column | Drag and drop column headers to change their order in the table. |
Manage Subscription | Create a subscription to receive the reports on schedule. |
Email Report | You can email the report as either an attachment or a link. |
Duplicate Report | You can duplicate the report and customize it as per your requirements.
