Permissions Required

As part of protecting customer data, Druva installs an application in the customer’s tenant, which helps data flow between Druva and the customer. The customer needs to consent to certain permissions for this application.

This article helps you understand the permissions that Druva requires to protect your Microsoft Power Platform data.

Permissions required for the Druva for Microsoft Power Platform are:

Permission

Permission type

Purpose

User.Read

Delegated

Sign in and read the user profile.

Allows Druva to verify the identity of the administrator during the initial setup and token refresh.

📝NOTE: This permission may be expanded in the future to support additional Power Platform workloads.

❗IMPORTANT: In addition to the Microsoft Graph permissions above, specific configurations must be performed in your Azure Portal and Power BI admin center. This allows the Druva Service Principal to access the necessary APIs. To know more, see Tenant Environment Authorization.
