The Subscription page allows you to manage email notification preferences for data protection rules and consumption events. Subscriptions are configured individually for each rule type or event using the Manage Subscription dropdown menu.
Add: Create a new notification subscription for the selected item.
Edit: Modify the schedule or distribution list of an existing subscription.
Delete: Remove the subscription to stop receiving notifications for that item.
The configuration wizard guides you through two sequential steps: Schedule and Subscribers.
1. Schedule
Define how often subscribers should receive email alerts. Choose the frequency that best matches your operational needs:
Daily Digest: A summary email sent once per day. You can specify the exact delivery time (e.g., 10:00 AM daily).
Weekly Digest: A summary email sent once per week. You can specify the day and time (e.g., every Monday at 10:00 AM).
2. Subscribers & Exclusions
After setting the schedule, click Next to define your notification distribution list.
Adding Subscribers: You can add multiple email addresses or entire roles (e.g., Tenant Admins, Read-only Admins). Use the dropdown menu to select from existing users or press Enter/Tab after typing a new address.
Exclusions (Optional): If a broad role is selected as a subscriber, you can use the Exclusions field to prevent specific administrators from receiving these particular notifications.
Click Finish to save your subscription configurations.
