Yes, the solution operates entirely within Druva's cloud infrastructure, utilizing Azure APIs for discovery, backup, and restore. No software agents or additional compute resources are required in your Azure environment.

Backups are stored in the secure, air-gapped Druva Cloud. You can choose to store them in Druva's Azure storage (same or different region) or Druva's AWS storage.

No, Druva's architecture is designed to incur zero egress charges from Azure to the customer during backup operations.
Do you protect SMB Azure file shares accessed by private Endpoints network or public network with restricted access?
Do you protect SMB Azure file shares accessed by private Endpoints network or public network with restricted access?
No. We currently protect the SMB Azure file shares accessed via public endpoints only. However, if you want to protect the SMB Azure file shares accessed via a private network or public access and restricted network scope, you can do so by deploying our Azure Files agent in your environment.
