Initiate Recovery

Enterprise Workloads Management Console

An authorized administrator initiates the restore job (granular file/directory or full share) and selects the target share.

Job Orchestration

Druva Data Resiliency Cloud

Druva intelligent automation validates the job, retrieves the recovery metadata, and instructs the data mover to begin the restoration sequence.

Read and Transfer Data

Druva Data Resiliency Cloud

The system securely reads the optimized (deduplicated, compressed) and AES-256 encrypted data from the immutable Druva storage and prepares it for direct transfer.

Restore to Target

Your Azure Environment

Data is transferred securely over the public endpoint using TLS 1.2+ encryption and written to the target File Share (original or alternate location) via Azure Files APIs, completing the restoration.
