Druva’s app for Microsoft Dynamics 365 enables you to monitor backup, restore, and download jobs efficiently. This article provides a detailed walkthrough of accessing and using the Jobs page to track job statuses and manage tasks.

Accessing the Jobs Page

Follow these steps to access the jobs Page:

  1. Open the hamburger menu in the top-left corner of the dashboard.

  2. Select All Services > Microsoft Dynamics 365 under the Data Protection section.

  3. Click Jobs on the left navigation pane.

Using Filters on the Jobs Page

The Jobs page includes various filters that allow you to narrow down job results based on type, status, and timeframe.

Job Type Filters

  • Backup

  • Restore

  • Download

Job Status Filters

  • Successful: Jobs that completed without errors.

  • Failed: Jobs that encountered errors and did not complete as intended.

  • Cancelled: Jobs that were manually stopped before completion.

  • Queued: Jobs waiting in line to begin execution.

  • Running: Jobs currently in progress.

  • Successful with Errors: Jobs completed but encountered non-critical issues during execution.

  • Waiting for Retry: Jobs paused and scheduled for automatic retry after encountering errors.

Time-Based Filters

  • Last 24 Hours: Jobs executed within the last day.

  • Last 7 Days: Jobs executed within the past week.

  • Last 1 Month: Jobs executed within the last 30 days.

Additional Filters

  • Backup Set: Specific backup sets configured for all environments

  • Environments: The environments (e.g., production, development) associated with the jobs.

Viewing Job Details

You can click on a job’s ID to access the detailed job page. This page provides in-depth information, including:

  • Job type

  • Status

  • Start and end time

  • Detailed logs (if available)

You can click Download Logs to get more information about the job

Canceling Ongoing Jobs

If needed, you can cancel an ongoing job directly from the Jobs page. Follow these steps:

  1. Select the job(s) you wish to cancel by checking the box next to the job ID.

  2. Click the Cancel Job(s) button located at the top-left corner of the page.
