This announcement details the upcoming retirement of three reports and APIs in favor of a more powerful reporting.
Who is Impacted?
This change affects users who currently rely on the following reports and their corresponding APIs:
Report Name | API Endpoint |
Tenant Consumption Report | msp/v2/reports/consumption msp/v2/reports/consumption/summary |
Tenant Quota Consumption Report | msp/v2/reports/quota msp/v2/reports/quota/summary |
Backupset Report | msp/v2/reports/backupsets |
Subscriptions to these older reports will expire on September 05, 2024.
Why the Change?
Our previous reports, while valuable in their time, have become redundant and lack the detailed information needed for comprehensive usage analysis. To address this, we've developed improved versions of these reports with richer details, providing a more comprehensive view of your tenant's usage.
What You Need to Do:
Subscribe to the New Reports
Tenant Consumption Report Version 2.0: Gain a deeper understanding of unit and service usage with detailed consumption data.
Tenant Quota Consumption Report Version 2.0: Effectively monitor subscribed Druva services and add-on usage to make informed billing decisions.
Backup Activity Report: This replaces the Backupset Report, providing a more detailed view of all backup jobs created for each tenant, including their respective statuses. To access this report, Go to MSC > Reports > Hybrid Workloads > Backup Activity Report
Update Your Tools: Make any necessary changes to your automation or monitoring tools to use the new APIs instead of the deprecated ones. The new APIs are:
msp/reporting/v1/reports/consumptionItemized
msp/reporting/v1/reports/quotaItemized
msp/reporting/v1/reports/mspEWBackupActivity
Benefits of Switching:
The new reports offer significant advantages:
More Detailed Insights: Gain a comprehensive understanding of your tenant's usage patterns.
Actionable Data: Make informed billing decisions based on actual Druva service and add-on consumption.
Improved Efficiency: Access all backup job details in one centralized location with the Hybrid Workloads report.
