Overview
The article provides information for the DCP Administrators on upgrading the AD/LDAP Connectors and its associated configuration for the inSync Administrators through the DCP console.

To access the mappings associated with the old AD/LDAP Connectors, you must upgrade all the old AD/LDAP Connectors by mapping them with the new connectors.
To upgrade the old AD/LDAP Connectors
From the Druva Cloud Platform console, navigate to the Druva Cloud Settings > AD/LDAP Connectors page.
Click on the Connectors tab. You can view the list of all the configured AD/LDAP connectors.
βπ NotesThe Upgrade button will be disabled for all the old AD/LDAP connectors. To upgrade, you must add a new AD/LDAP connector and map the old connector with the new one. To add a new connector, refer to Download and Install AD/LDAP Connector.
If you have configured CloudCache mapping, it will have an impact on the integration with the old AD/LDAP connector. For more details, see Impact on CloudCache server with AD/LDAP Connector.

After a new AD/LDAP Connector is added, the Upgrade button is now enabled for all the old connectors. Click Upgrade for the connector that you want to upgrade. The Upgrade Connector window appears.
From the Upgrade Connector window, select the connector from the New AD Connector drop-down menu. Your old AD/LDAP connector will be mapped with the selected new AD/LDAP connector.
βClick Verify and Upgrade. After successful verification, the old AD/LDAP connector is upgraded, and the accounts linked with the old AD/LDAP connector are now linked to the new AD/LDAP connector. You can view the linked accounts from the Accounts tab.
Follow the same steps to upgrade the remaining old AD/LDAP connectors.

Once you upgrade all the connectors, you can access and modify all the accounts registered with the old AD/LDAP connectors.
After upgrading the old AD/LDAP Connector, the associated accounts and mappings are automatically linked to the new AD/LDAP Connector, and you can now import the users. However, you must create new mappings to import the administrators.
After upgrading to the latest inSync Connector, users managed in inSync using AD/LDAP and marked as "Disabled" in your AD/LDAP will be automatically set to "Preserved," regardless of the "Auto-preserve Unmapped Users" setting.
After the old AD/LDAP Connectors are upgraded and the associated accounts and mappings are linked to the new AD/LDAP Connector, you must add the account credentials separately from the Manage AD Accounts section. provided the credentials are not stored on the Cloud.
