Download and Install AD/LDAP Connector

Before downloading and installing inSync Connector, meet the following prerequisites.

Hardware Prerequisites

The following table lists the hardware prerequisites to install inSync Connector.

The connector's footprint is very low, meaning almost any hardware can support the Connector.

​If you have installed the previous version of the inSync Connector (see EOL Policy ) on a 32-bit Windows computer, you cannot upgrade your inSync Connector. You must install and configure the latest inSync Connector.

Download inSync Connector

Download the latest version of inSync Connector here.

Install inSync Connector

TDouble-click the ADConnector agent installer. The installation wizard appears. Click Next.

  1. Check the Cloud Services Customer Agreement and the privacy policy and select Next.

  2. Specify the Installation location and select the appropriate checkboxes:

    • (Optional) Desktop Shortcut: You can create a desktop shortcut for the AD Connector installation wizard.

    • (Optional) Enable Signature Verification: Selecting this option ensures the integrity and authenticity of binaries. It also prevents the execution of any altered binaries, thereby safeguarding against malicious modifications or tampering with packages.

    • Click Install. The AD Connector is now successfully installed.

The inSync Connector is installed. You can now configure the connector. For more information, see Configure the inSync Connector.
