Last Backup Status Report

Overview

The Last Backup Status report provides details of the last backup based on the filters selected. You can perform an analysis and take corrective actions based on the last backup status.

Description

The following Summary section provides information about the backup of the users for the selected profile.

Section

Description

User Name

The name of the user.

User Email ID

The email address of the user.

Device

The name of the device registered for the user.

Profile

The profile that is assigned to the user.

Client Version

The version of inSync client installed on the user's device.

OS Platform

The name, version, and platform details of the OS running on the user device.

Device Status

The backup status of the device. For example, Enabled.

Start Time

The date and time on which the backup started.

End Time

The date and time on which the backup was completed.

Time Taken (Minutes)

Displays the total time taken for the backup.

Files Backed Up

The number of files and folders that are backed up.

Files Missed

The number of files and folders that Endpoints was not able to back up.

Bytes Transferred (MB)

The number of bytes transferred during backup.

Status

The status of the backup operation. A device can have the following backup statuses:

  • Backup Failed - Endpoints failed to back up the device data due to errors in the inSync client

  • Never Backed Up - Endpoints never backed up the device data

  • Backed Up With Errors - Endpoints was not successful in backing up the complete device data. For example, Endpoints missed to backup some files due to errors

  • Backed Up Successfully - Endpoints successfully backed up the complete device data

  • The displayed status is of the last ended backup (either successful or failed backup)

  • Backup Status is only updated when another backup ends (either successful or failed backup)

  • Endpoints does not update the Backup Status in case a backup is interrupted due to network failure, or when aborted by a user due to device shutdown or system restart during an ongoing backup

Device Connectivity

Displays information about the device connectivity status - active or inactive

macOS Location Services status

Displays Location permission status for Mac devices
