Overview

This article provides an overview of the various Microsoft 365 and Office 365 editions supported by Druva and the permitted actions within the supported cloud applications. The supported cloud apps include OneDrive, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams.

The supported Microsoft 365 editions are as follows:

Exchange Online

The table below details the various tasks supported by Druva for Exchange Online.

Data that is backed up

  • Mailbox (Individual user and Shared)

  • Tasks within the Exchange Online server mailbox of a user.

Within tasks, inSync backs up the following:

  • Flagged items and tasks

  • Task attributes:

    • Subject

    • Start Date

    • Due Date

    • Status

    • Priority

    • Reminders

  • Associated attachments:

    • OneDrive

    • Group Files

    • Links

    • Outlook attachments

    • File uploaded from a device.

  • Notes folder within the Exchange Online server mailbox of a user

  • Calendar events

  • Contacts

  • Emails with attachments

  • Archived emails with attachments

  • Recoverable Items folder

      • The account creation date of the team member

      • Active period of the team member account

  • Shared Drives Content

      • Supported MIME Types

      • File metadata

      • File-sharing settings for both internal as well as external users

    • Folders and sub-folders

      • Folder metadata

      • Details and activities that occur inside the folders.

Groups

Data that is backed up

The data backup is supported for the following group types (Private as well as public):

  • Microsoft 365 groups

  • Distribution groups

  • Security groups

  • Mail-enabled security groups

The backup includes the following components:

  • Groups Metadata: Name, email, type, membership type, privacy, created on, members and owners, groups settings, the sensitivity label

  • Site: All sites and subsites content, document libraries, lists, pages, and all metadata
