The Attached Backup Sets page displays information such as Backup Set Name, Backup Set Type, Administrative Group, and current Retention Period for the selected CloudCache.
You can modify which backup sets are protected by a CloudCache and adjust their retention period at any time.
Attach More Backup Sets
The Attach More Backup Sets tab allows you to assign specific workloads, such as servers, virtual machines, file shares, and more, to the CloudCache device.
Click Attach More Backup Sets.
In the Set Local Retention: Define the retention period (in days) for the new sets.
Select the backup sets from the list.
Click Save.
Note: File Servers and NAS devices with many small files may affect CloudCache performance due to intensive I/O operations.
Edit Retention
To change the local retention for existing workloads:
Select the specific backup set(s) from the list.
Click Edit Retention.
Select the Set retention for all selected backup sets check box to collectively edit the retention period for the selected backup sets, in days. This retention period will apply to all selected backup sets. You can alternately choose to edit the retention period for each backup set individually via the dropdowns.
Click Save.
Note: Increasing local retention will result in increased storage consumption
