Overview

To provision the Education License for your customers, you must first have the Education License feature enabled by Druva. You can contact your account representative or Druva Support to enable the Education License. Once Druva enables the Education License for the requested MSP, you can then offer the Education License to your customers.

Workflow to request Education License for existing MSPs

To request and enable the Education License for existing MSPs

  1. MSP Admin must contact the Druva Account Representative or Druva Support to enable the Education License for a Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 customer.

  2. Druva will reach out to the MSP Admin via email, requesting the customer details like Organization Name and Domain Name to verify and approve the request.

  3. MSP Admin must provide the requested details of the customer so that Druva can validate the Education License provisioning request.

  4. Druva will review the details provided by the MSP Admin and either approve or decline the request, providing a reason for approval/rejection of the Education License.

  5. If the Education License is approved by Druva:

    1. The MSP Admin will receive an email confirming the approval of the Education License. You can also view the status of the Education License request on the Product Details section of the Customer Details page.

    2. The customer will receive the education discount (1:4), and the storage allocation will be determined based on the number of faculty licenses purchased.

  6. If the Education License is rejected by Druva:

    1. The MSP Admin will receive an email informing them that the request for Education License has been declined, and the reason for rejection. You can also view the status of the Education License request on the Product Details section of the Customer Details page.

    2. The MSP Admin can resubmit the request to enable the Education License and provide the necessary details for validation.
