Updated over 10 months ago

Problem description

Deleting an existing Environment in Druva CloudRanger fails with the Error below: Cannot read property 'stack_name' of null

Cause

  • The Environment has been manually deleted in the AWS account along with the CloudFormation stack associated.

  • When trying to find that environment's stack in AWS it cannot be found.

Traceback

Resolution

  • In order to delete an Environment from Druva CloudRanger, we recommend to go in the CloudRanger consone and delete the Environment within CloudRanger instead of deleting the CloudFormation Stack in AWS.

  • In case the Environment has been deleted already from the AWS account it is no longer possible to Delete the Environment from the CloudRanger console. In this case, please contact Support.
