If inSync must communicate with inSync Cloud through a proxy server, you can allow users to configure proxy settings.

📝 Note ​You can allow users to configure proxy settings through profiles. You cannot do this on an individual user level.

To allow users to configure proxy settings

On the EndpointsConsole menu bar, click Profiles.

Click the profile for which you want to allow users to configure proxy settings.

In the top-right corner of the profile summary page, click Edit.

From the navigation menu, select the Endpoints tab. The Edit Profile window will appear.

Under the Endpoint tab, scroll down to the User Settings section.

Select the Edit proxy settings check box and click Save

1. On the EndpointsConsole menu bar, click Profiles.

3. In the top-right corner of the profile summary page, click Edit.
4. From the navigation menu, select the Endpoints tab. The Edit Profile window will appear. 

5. Under the Endpoint tab, scroll down to the User Settings section.
6. Select the Edit proxy settings check box and click Save
