Upgrade Activity Report

Overview

The Upgrade Activity Report lists the upgrade activity and associated status of all the inSync Client devices. You can take corrective action to re-attempt the upgrade process for the failed device. You can also check the status of bulk upgrades and manual upgrades.

Summary

Total Client Upgrades - The total number ofinSync Client upgrade activities triggered.

Successful Upgrades - The total number of inSync Client devices that have been upgraded successfully.

Failed Upgrades - The total number of inSync Client devices that have failed to upgrade.

Canceled Upgrades - The total number of inSync Client upgrades that were canceled.

Upgrade Activities Details

Upgrade Activity by Status - The pie chart depicts the upgrade activity status of the inSync Client device - successful, failed, and canceled.

Hovering on the individual legends of the graph displays the count of upgrade activities based on the upgrade status.

Top Failed Client Upgrades - The pie chart depicts the topmost inSync Client devices that have failed to upgrade for a specific Client version. Hovering on the individual legends of the graph displays the count of inSync Client devices that have failed to upgrade.

Upgrade Activities

The Upgrade Activities table lists the following information:

  • Device Name - Displays the name of the user device.

  • User Name - The name of the user.

  • User Email ID - Displays the email ID of the user to whom the device belongs.

  • Profile Name - Displays the name of the profile with which the user is associated.

  • Device OS - Displays the OS platform.

  • OS Platform - The OS platform on the user device.

  • Version at the Time of Upgrade - Specifies the current inSync Client version when the upgrade is initiated.

  • Upgrade to - Specifies the inSync Client version being upgraded to.

  • Status - Status of the upgrade operation - Success, In progress, Failed, Scheduled

  • Details - Details of the upgrade action.

  • Upgrade Attempt - The date and time when the upgrade was triggered.

  • Date Scheduled on - The date and time when the upgrade is scheduled.

  • Scheduled by - Email-ID of cloud administrator/client who initiated the upgrade.

  • Type of Upgrade - Displays the type of upgrade initiated:

    • Manual upgrade: If a single device is marked for upgrade.

    • Bulk upgrade: If multiple devices are marked for upgrade.

    • Automatic upgrade: An auto-upgrade is triggered automatically if a new client version is available.
