Overview

Microsoft 365 Government Community Cloud High (GCCH) is one of the most secure and robust platforms for GovCloud customers. Microsoft 365 GCC High is FedRAMP certified and is built on the Microsoft Azure platform.

You can now protect Microsoft 365 GCC High data on GovCloud.

License Requirements

Microsoft 365 GCC High is supported only with the Druva Microsoft 365 Elite license. With this license, you get all the benefits of secure data protection of your Microsoft 365 tenant with features such as Federated Search, Defensible Deletion (of Exchange Online and OneDrive), and Legal Hold.

Supported Workloads

The following Microsoft 365 GCC High workloads are protected:

  • Exchange Online

  • OneDrive

  • SharePoint Online

  • Teams

  • Public folder

Non - Supported Workloads

The following Microsoft 365 GCC High workloads are not protected:

  • OneNote

  • Guest users for Teams

Configuring Microsoft 365 GCC High

Step 1: Enable the feature

Reach out to us at www.druva.com to register for the Microsoft 365 GCC High backup service.


πŸ“ Note

Microsoft 365 GCCH support is available only for GovCloud customers with an Elite license.


Step 2: Configure and Verify

  1. Once registered, you will receive an email to complete the administrator account creation.. Ensure that you have a Microsoft 365 global administrator account with a valid Microsoft 365 license.

  2. Log in to login.druva.com with the credentials provided in the email.

  3. Configure your Microsoft 365 app and verify the configuration. For more information, see Configure Druva inSync for Office 365.


πŸ“ Note

To protect Microsoft 365 GCC High data, existing Druva customers have to create a new Druva tenant.
